was the first all digital TV and
radio facility in the country.
Designed, and project coordinated
the installation of a network
facility for Georgia Public
Broadcasting System.
Designed a production complex that
encompasses Georgia Public
Television, Peach State Radio,
Distant Learning Agency of the State
of Georgia, and the ancillary
operations of Georgia Public
Broadcasting.
System consists of three (3) main
Television Production Studios with
two (2) Control Rooms. On this same
floor are and additional six (6)
smaller Television Production
Studios with their associated
control rooms. Also located on this
floor is the Master Control and the
Satellite Control Center. On the
next floor up are four (4) Radio
Studios with their Control Rooms and
Announce Booths and an additional
four (4) Radio Edit Booths. On the
second floor are the Post Production
facilities which included three (3)
full Editing Rooms, one (1) Audio
Sweetening Room, six (6) Avid
Editing Rooms. Also located on this
floor is the Graphics Suite that
houses six (6) graphics
workstations.
Included a teleport that includes
nine (9) dishes, six (6) meter and
three (3) 3-meter dishes.
The
completed Georgia Public
Broadcasting plant has facilities
that far exceed those of most
networks and have a truly all
digital plant.
